Ionic Lodge #145

Welcome to Ionic Lodge #145 A.F. & A.M.

Charity in Our Community

One of the goals of Freemasonry is to give back to the community. Nationwide, it is estimated Freemasonry donates between $2.5- 3 million dollars per day through our charitable endeavors. Our most recognizable charity today is the Shriners Hospitals.

Freemasonry demonstrates that the by the tenant of brotherly love all humans are related and are to be treated truthfully, equally and with fairness.

Without publicity or the expectation of reward Freemasonry teaches the the tenant of Relief  is as much to restore peace to a troubled mind as it is to provide for one's physical needs.

Truth is a Divine attribute and is the foundation upon which the  other tenants rest.  Freemasonry teaches us Truth is the highest ideal in life, and when practiced by word and deed it it allows for the development of  freedom of thought. In turn this helps each Freemason develop a deep respect and a profound understanding for those unlike ourselves.

Brotherly love, Relief and Truth are the tenents of Freemasonry. Charity is borne from the concepts developed around these tenants. As the lessons of these tenants are learned by Freemasons, Charity becomes a natural extension of ourselves.
